The Cuisinart CMW100 is a 1.0c. ft. mid-sized microwave oven. The unit is available in either black or white trimming, the core/body is held in modern stainless steel. The CMW-100 from Cuisinart comes with 1000 Watts of cooking power, 10 power levels and 25 pre-programmed settings. Other features include a 2-stage cooking operation and 8 specific preset serving size option. The appliance offers 2 defrost functions and the 12-inch glass turntable accommodates even slightly over-sized dishes. The Cuisinart-CMW100 measures 20 1/2 by 16 by 12 3/4 inches and comes with a 3 year limited warranty.

If you have seen some of our other microwave oven reviews, than you probably know we are a little bit biased – we love units with a door handle. Not that this is the most important feature, but it is certainly a practical aspect. The CMW100 1-Cubic-Foot comes with a door handle – but it is made of plastic, covered by a layer of fake chrome. While this is not dramatic, it is just something that is detrimental to overall look and feel of this unit. The interior is actually held in stainless steel which is a huge plus because it is very easy to clean. Performance-wise, the CMW100 did well. The 25 pre-setting buttons seem a little bit of an overkill, who needs that many? In general a solid unit for smaller and mid-size families.
